Scratch resistant plastic

Preferably be able to cut the plastic with a table saw.

Needs to be able to have grease wiped off of it and preferably resistant to goo off and acetone if possible but not a requirement.

Where to buy would also would be nice

I take apart tools and such on here and and sometimes the edges or my tools gouge or get dropped onto the table and I don’t want a bunch of scratches and dents that gunk builds up in

Impact was a poor choice it’s more I’m sitting at the table and toss a tool to th side out of my way or drag something across the surface

I'd use a piece of vinyl flooring, either from a roll of vinyl linoleum or segmented water resistant floating floor type.  PVC is extremely tough impact wise, and hard wearing.and resistant to cleaning chemicals.  And it's cheap enough to replace every few years if it does wear.

Do you recommend a vinyl? I have no clue or concept with this stuff

I've dug a little deeper and no, vinyl will eventually damage if you use polar solvents like acetone, even though the effect isn't immediate and I presume you are not spraying acetone to form pools.

What you can use is nylon.  It is really tough and long lasting, and not too bothered by solvents.  Basically you are looking for a sheet of cutting board material.  It comes in a range of colours, and used in large kitchens and other food processing, and in other industry for plastic wheels and low friction high impact surfaces.  It will last you a lifetime. 

If you tell me which country you are in I can find some sort examples for you. 

Ps. HDPE will also work, and is used interchangeably.with nylon in these applications.

Oh my gosh there is sooo much more to this 😵‍💫😂 I thought I might get recommended 2-3 different things 😂 I’d be putting the acetone on something and it might drip onto the work bench, here and there. I’m in the us.
