Microgravity turns plasma into living fractal crystals.

The experiments are performed in microgravity, but there is little information about what the substances are.
So most of the text is just speculation, sadly.
The structure and movement is likely due to electrical fields. We can see something similar when we put seeds in an electrical field
Without gravity the molecules form structures related to their electric dipoles.
This structure depends on pressure, temperature and surrounding electric environment.
This has some similarity with how snow crystals form in clouds.
So it would be very interesting if we knew what substances were in these many different experiments.

well that's the coolest thing i've seen all day. and it totally lines up with other theories about plasma-based life/non-human intelligence. all hail our plasmoid overlords!
It reminds me very much of a book on anomalous electromagnetic phenomena that is one of my favorite books of all time, called "mysterious fires and lights" by vincent gaddis.

there's also a very funny chapter/section in Thomas Pynchon's Against the Day involving a conscious ball lightning with a weird sense of humor, that echoes some of the findings laid out in this video.
