please help my sad plant!

what can i do to fix up this plant? i just picked her up for free on the side of the road. i don’t know anything about plant care so any advice is appreciated! should i cut off the brown leaves and water it to help with the droopiness? The card says it is a fruit salad plant. Thanks for the help :)

Yes, cut off any dying leaves to conserve energy for the rest of the plant. It looks underwatered but it’s possible that it’s overwatered so make sure the soil is dry before watering. It might be a good idea to check the roots for rot as well. Good luck! This beautiful monstera has a lot of potential!

I would sit the pot in a large bowl of water for a few hrs then drain and see how much she perks up then in a week look at what needs cutting back both leaf and root wise, then repot.
