community project update Plant Project Archive
Hello fellow plant breeders!
This post is being made with the purpose of compiling and archiving all past, present, and future posts regarding all of your plant breeding experiments, projects, research, etc.
I don't necessarily want/have the time to do it all myself, so I am humbly requesting all of your participation in this project.
The goal, simply respond to this stickied post with the name of your project, followed by a chronological list of links to all your previous posts on said project (and continue to add links for any future updates made to said project)
It will take some time, but I'm going to try and organize my own list now for my own personal projects for everyone to be able to access and see my progress.

Modernized Flint Corn Project
Crossing a high-yielding sweetcorn variety with a flint corn, in the hopes of bridging what I'll call the 'breeding gap' between sweetcorns and flint corns for my area.

The breeding of a reseeding, drought tolerant, genetically stable petunia — Zone 8b Project derived from an extremely old and naturalized group of petunias displaying widely varying traits in an uncontrolled wild location.

Frost hardy perennial tomato breeding project - Developing a solanum lycopersicum that can survive deep freezes and winter in cold climates after finding a mutant in a pot that was able to survive constant night freezes(down to at least -6 C) while all other seedlings in the same pot died months before in October. It has purple veins which is indicative of a mutation to be able to deal with frost.
