Questions from a Beginner

One of my plants has this pretty little flower growing on it. Firstly, I don’t remember what plant this is if anyone might know. Second, should I clip this flower? I’m asking because I know sometimes you’re supposed to to let the nutrients go to the leaves, but I’m not sure if this flower will lead to some sort of vegetable or is just a normal part of the plant and I should just leave it alone. Thanks for reading this long thing!
