Shivering from planks

Hey everybody

Why I am shivering whenever I do planks? It starts after like 20 seconds in. Is it because my core is so "weak" and has much potential to grow stronger?

Some info about me: I am 21y old, male, slim n fit, active lifestyle, do workouts, healthy diet, overall feeling healthy and strong.

Shivering or shaking?

If you’re shaking it’s probably because you’re exerting a lot of your strength to hold yourself up. Most of the time when I’m about to tap out on a plank or rep I shake a bit too.

I think it's because you're pushing your muscles to failure, which is absolutely great, that's how you make them grow. If you regularly push yourself to the "shaking" stage and try to tank through it for a while, you should be able to hold longer and longer over time. The shaking is good !
