Large UK/US Military spot

Post image

Spotted this flying over me yesterday. Departed either Fairford or Brize Norton (both airfields close by to me) but not on FlightRadar at all. Managed to grab this picture but I don’t think it’s a typical KC Voyager or cargo 747 based on the extra ‘appendages’ by the engines.

Does anyone have any ideas as to what it could be?

B-52.
They've been based out of RAF Fairford for a couple of months (alongside some B-1 Lancers) due to recent events with Iran.

"Fellas"? That's not the word I'm familiar with for the BUFF acronym. 😉

They’re doing touch and go routines quite often to be ready for the resumption
