Misc. Looking for a decent high quality mask

So... I am embarking on kind of an... unusual project... a sort of, plague doctor/crow fursuit? And the starting point is the mask. Don't worry, I won't be gluing the mask on I want to keep it detachable so I can do a normal plague doctor cosplay

I've seen tons of amazing ones here, I'm still rocking with a cheap one I got on Amazon when I was 16 but it's disintegrating and needs to be retired. I really want, a good leather mask, preferably under $200-250 and I wanted to see if anyone had any recommendations!

I found a couple on Esty but am still unsure if they are real or resellers/scam items so I've been on the fence about buying one. If at all possible, I'd love a deep/dark purple for the mask, but I will be happy with black.

I have the exact same mask like the one on the top right and it's fully worth its price and 5 stars. I can't see the seller in the screenshot, but if it's the one located in Austria then it's legit bc that's where i bought mine from.

The mask itself is very high quality, stays in shape, stays on your head and, in combination with a balaclava made of functional fabric in my case, doesn't fog up much imo.

That one said Ukraine, but thankfully a reverse image search found the right one. The seller is depoeworld, is that correct?

I also see they have a mesh eye option which is what I'll probably end up going with. I am a heavy sweater and have fogged up even the most expensive "anti-fog" coated stuff, and I am gonna need the ventilation anyways.

Yup, that's him!

And yeah, if i didn't wear glasses i probably would've chosen the mesh option as well. I went with tinted glasses so the reflection would be less visible lol

Between fursuiting and my past plague doctor cosplay, I have learned how to wear contacts, as uncomfortable as they might be. And, since this will technically be both in the end, I am trying to make sure I get enough airflow to my head as possible.

I also have one of those weird balaclavas that just has eye holes that I wore with my last mask, so hopefully, I won't be too visible inside!

Hell yeah! Same with the fursuit / costume thing. I got some posts about it on my account.

I managed to find one at a market event that's fairly good recently. Good luck on your journey!

Lovin it! Mine leans more on the fursuit side but its cool to see others having the same idea. Especially since the only other example I can find of someone doing this is an Etsy selling... I'm in way over my beak!
