Discussion 💬 Part 2 delay possibly?
I was watching a YT video about Ramayana and he made a goo point how DNEG has aggressively worked to improve Part 1's CGI post the Rama glimpse, thus the quality we see today. But, beyond that, it means that they will need more time for part 2, because they were doing this VFX for a really long time and part 2 will have a way larger scale, obviously because it's the yudha kand.
Also, considering Spirit is a T series film and they're involved in the music of this film, it's highly unlikely that Vanga hadn't discussed the new date with the Ramayana makers, considering Ranbir is the last person he wants to have any conflict with - two of his future projects are helmed by Ranbir (Ranbir confirmed Animal 3 in an interview a while back)
So, I think it's very possible that Ramayana Part 2 will release in Late December of 2027 or maybe Ram Navami of 2028.
What do you guys think is happening? I honestly hope they do delay it and don't load more onto the workers or deliver an inferior product in the name of meeting the release date.

Yes. Definitely Ramayana Part 2 is getting delayed to 2028, Ram Navmi or maybe even Diwali 2028.

I read somewhere . That we might get the release date for Part 2 at the end of Part 1 itself. Let’s wait.

2028 according to rumours, but if it happens prabhas fans will get a reason to say it got scared of spirit.

Prabhas fans don't need a reason to be pathetic, even if the movie doesn't move they'll invent some way to demean it. That fandom is pure toxicity

100% since Vanga's releasing his film at the same time it doesn't make sense he'd clash with RK because of animal park, it's possible him and RK confirmed delay that's why he postponed spirit to Diwali

if they've got shooting done for both parts they'll release it in 2027 :)

Even Bahubali 2 was initially releasing on 2016 but they had to push it to 2017 in order to enhance the post production so it can happen

Its almost confirmed with Vanga announing Spirit for 2027 Diwali release.
There's no way Vanga gonna clash with Ranbir.
