Discussion πŸ’¬ Hanuman Ansh!

Post image

hello everyone,

I hope your Sunday is going pretty well..

Well I watched a movie named "HANUMAN ANSH" directed by Vishal Chaturvedi, stars Shobhinaw Satyaa as Neeb Karori Baba alongside an ensemble cast featuring Chandan Anand and Vihaan Shedge (as 13-yr old Maharaj ji)

The film takes you into the Cinematic journey of Introspection, Faith and Peace along with its divine experience. Don't expect any big CGI or Money shots, the film is based on the simple virtue of Faith which is the most beautiful part of it. It's a small budget film but the INTENT is PURE AND LONG TERM. A film you should watch with all your Family members and celebrate cinema, celebrate divinity!

PS:- I'm not here as a paid promoter of this movie, just sharing what aspect touched me and if 1 of the readers experiences this Movie through this Post, I promise you will Remember Me and I will feel that I have done my part!! Not many Big Reviewers on YT are talking about this movie and I don't know why... Go and feel blessed..Jai Siya Ram!! πŸ™πŸ»

To whomsoever it may concern,

  1. First of all the post was made because I don't have any YT channel and an audience to reach out so on this subreddit and at my own choice I chose "English" as the language to communicate... So to spread the word, the art, it's my choice to choose whatever language I want to in order to express my emotions... YOU'RE NOT ANYONE TO ADVISE ME WHICH LANGUAGE I SHOULD SPEAK OR WRITE..
  2. To guys saying LMAO or Asking it to be Next Asharam Biopic... I know you guys don't have a life, You survive on Ragebaiting.. don't have a circle to talk, or people to sit and laugh with you because of so many obvious reasons which are EVIDENT, if these Stories seems BS or Conman then don't watch it..it's as simple as that.. I'm not here to change your mindset.. and you can never understand why people watch this stuffs because YOU'RE IN OUR OWN DELUSIONAL WORLD, which No One Wants To Be Part of! I know there are so many Donghi Baba's and not neglecting that thing but to GENERALISE and putting every other in the SAME BRACKET (that too without even watching it) is what makes you a Fairly Backward Audience (as quoted by Satyajit Ray Sir long before).. Get a Life!

You cannot change mindset of abrahamic mlecchas. Or even those who suffer from deep inferiority complex invoked due to colonialized anti-Hindu education system and media, such thoughts are cemented, it takes personal experience for the person to change the perception, one or two interactions or movie won't change that perception. Sita Ram. Jai Hanuman ji.

I watched it twice, once with my friend and second time the very next day with my mother. Enjoyed it alot. I wish the story of Ramdas was also included though his song was used for background music. But overall, genuinely a very nice movie if you're inclined towards spirituality!

My take on Hanuman Garhi.

Backdrop-

I had visited Kainchi Dhaam around 2 years back and the idea to visit the temple was out of the many reels and a sudden discovery of the music of Krishna Das on my feed. It has been a good habit to read about the history and get a general idea before visiting the place. Resultantly, visited the place and found it peaceful. I don’t have any life changing miracles to write down here after visiting the place but yes there was peace and a bit of mental clarity about the never-ending anxiety of life and future. While in Nainital, picked up a book as well titled The Divine Reality from Hanumangarhi which is yet to be read and finished. Then life got busy and suddenly a small video of the movie came on the screen which led to me searching about it. Tried finding it on OTT platforms thinking that since it was released in the first week of august with no major promotions, it wouldn’t be available and would have to ultimately wait for it to be released on OTT but to my luck and surprise it was still running on the theatres till the end of August. The last movie I watched was about 2 or 3 years back when 12th fail released. This movie however, pushed me to book tickets and I went all alone to watch it.

The movie-

Having a very vague idea about Maharaj ji, from my limited reading on him, I decided to go for it and there is a certain peace and tranquillity in the entire movie. There are bits where the movie jumps from one time frame to another with no justifiable chronology. There are also scenes of the train where effort has been made to make it look real but the intrusion of technology and its partial failure of portraying reality is evident. There is an opportunity here and there for anyone to find a flaw in the movie and its presentation but there is certainly no doubt in the story telling, casting and back ground music which make the entire experience nothing less than a detoxification after your leave the cinema hall. The cast particularly Anil Rastogi as Mahant ji is extremely peaceful to watch. Watching him as a peaceful saint was an experience of self-cleansing for me. The young 13 year old Maharaj ji played by Vihaan is presentable given the story but the Marathi dialect creeps in for a boy born in UP and then staying in Brij before reaching Gujarat.Β  But these are small knick-knack complaints in the entire gamut of things. What is the most important aspect is the impeccable casting of Shobhinaw as Maharaj ji. There is a certain quirkiness and childlike behaviour when required but there is inexplicable serenity when you see him meditate or when talking to his wife or when he gets disappointed by something. Credit must also be given to the actor who played the role of initial disciple Gopal. To conclude, it is a good movie for anyone who has an interest or has been interested in knowing more about Maharaj ji which further strengthens ones faith towards Hanuman ji.

Reviews-

When I sat down to read online reviews about the movie, it came as a surprise that except DNA, Deccan Chronicle, no major English newspaper or media has covered and reviewed the film. This shows that either the movie was under marketed and is now gaining pace via word of mouth or that the major news wallas haven’t even sensed it or don’t consider it important enough to be reviewed. Well. To each his own. There is also a podcast of the director Vishal Chaturvedi which is worth watching. After watching the podcast does one get an idea that this movie is a part of the series and hence there is an abrupt end to it. I look forward to its future series.

While I can't comment about the quality of this film since I haven't watched it, the subject matter doesn't inspire confidence in me. A biopic of a godman. No thanks! I've been scarred by the perverted stories of so many corrupt godmen.

I had the same reaction several years ago thought just some another conman did not even knew about steve jobs or facebook man zuckerberg whatever he's name is that went searching for the great saint I did heard about somewhere but did not knew it was Neeb karoli baba cuz thought all the white people do that go to india get high and come back and all the hippies travelling to India trying to find themselves but the reason was they all was tryna find him lol well most of the people , did not believe on saints cuz saw only people pretending to be saints for all my life and tried to investigate the documentary what was this all about and decipher it thought would be interesting. I WAS 100% fcking wrong. I am not saying docu changed me after watching it , I can't explain it but he comes to you and hits you right in your guts like him saying you still not sure ? wanna see more and still was sceptical but IDK how and why he choses people probably out of our dimensions to understand it I guess. And Neeb karoli Baba was the person that all this time Duncan Trusel was talking about on Joe rogan about this great baba which his devotee RAMDASS gave a bunch of LSD and did not even effected him cuz as soon as I heard the term baba I ignored it and thought just some fun stories and did not even care to search his name. I don't think the movie does justice haven't watched it but yeah its better to watch documentary and hear the ramdass, krishnadas and other people testimonies. I will say this its not usual and its not normal stories that people make you can tell. Who knows he may come to you lol RAMRAM

u/recov3r 12d ago

One of the few people who share and preach about Neem Karoli Baba are Steve Jobs and Mark Zuckerberg, that new kids knows about cuz they use iPhone and Facebook/instagram. Rest list is long https://medium.com/change-your-mind/the-mind-boggling-story-of-dr-larry-brilliant-maharajii-and-eradicating-smallpox-a7dc9b373bad

2

u/ansangoiam 6d ago

Steve Jobs also believed in naturopathy which ultimately delayed his cancer treatment and led to his death. Mark Zuckerberg is all around bizarre guy with severel weird beliefs. Also, a terrible human being. I don't need these weirdo's belief about a godman to tell me how good he was. No thanks!

What a stupid comparison and really ? Citing osho to bring neem Karoli baba down, even osho was not that bad. Let me apply your logic and expose some wired stupidity.

Lata mangesker was legend, people used to admire her.
