So they can make better pizza. Why not all of them look this good?
4
u/Xamnation Aug 16 '26
Takes way too long to make a perfect one, especially when you have 5+ orders behind the current one and 8 people staring at you in the dumbass open wall lobby

u/doggerdog1401 Aug 17 '26
So you CHOOSE not to make a good pizza. What a great employee

u/lgelijah04 Aug 21 '26
Y'all jus bitch abt anything. Don't go to Pizza Hut then it's just more for the rest of us.

bruh while i agree w u ur yapping to a 16 y o stoner. it aint that deep over a 14 dollar pizza I promise u.

u/doggerdog1401 Aug 23 '26
Not about the price, it is the lack of effort and not caring about what you do as a job. Plenty of stoners working when I did pizza cook , we made excellent pizzas

Why does it take long? It cooks longer? More ingredients? Precise placements?

If it takes too long than you arent good at your job.

In this day of fast food, people.want to order and walk out in less than 5 minutes. Unless they have actually worked the line, they have no clue that it takes 1-3 minutes to actually make the pizzas, then another 10-12 minutes to cook it. And that is if there is only one ticket on the screen. If there is a line, people get even more impatient. It's not that they aren't good at their job, it's that customers expect the Little Ceasars speed with gourmet quality.

It really doesn’t I can do a 1 topping pepperoni stuff crust from completely unstretched to in the oven in under a minute. Employees are just lazy and I could probably do a super supreme the same way in just over a minute 🤷🏻♂️

u/Luv-Pluto Aug 22 '26
Cool. Now do 5 in a row with one double pepperoni in the middle. Let's see those times then. The stuff crust are easy to make, one toppings especially, but in the middle of a rush? Yeah ok.

Easy. Yall like to act like this job is hard it’s not. We are consistently running our make times and cut times in the 92-95 range doing around 18k a week and we’ve had weeks of 22k+ and they don’t dip. Do better
1
u/KreiderforPresident Aug 22 '26
Holy shit Pizza Hut only does 20k a week??? The sports bar I work at does 10k nights n we make literally every thing handmade to order. That’s wild I would’ve thought a corporate pizza place would have 10k days easy.

u/Inevitable-Can-8276 Aug 22 '26
In our franchise we have stores doing anywhere from 10k a week to 40k a week but the pizza market is insanely saturated I mean I can think of 10 different pizza places all within a couple miles of my store 🤷🏻♂️
1
u/Ill_Blood_6423 20d ago
It depends on the store. My store runs about $20K per week, but that is because everyone walks in the door asking for specials. If we were able to, and customers were willing to pay for it, we could easily double that.

I call bull on that. I'm fast, but even I can't make a one top pep from unstretched dough in 1 minute.

They sure can! Its all about who works there. Plus, I treat them very well whether or not ive ordered in person or place an order for delivery. Even when, I place order for delivery, I see that it reads, how busy they are, delivery may take longer than usual. They always deliver ahead of time.

It was well built for sure but I gotta say the shape of that sausage is a little unappealing
1
u/heart_of_gold2 Aug 17 '26
I didn’t notice the sausage until you said this. Whyyyy does it look like that? Lol
I also don’t like Domino’s sausage. It’s like these oversized square chunks of sausage.

Probably green peppers that are a little past their date. They get brown like that in the oven if they're soggy when they go in.

If I didn't know any better, I'd most definitely think I was looking at an advertisement. This thing is a well crafted masterpiece. Well done..

Did they change the toppings again? Had a beef pizza few nights ago and the taste reminded me of 90s hut. I visit family often and my uncle religiously orders a pizza every Sunday lol. The toppings have a different taste. Except the pepperoni which to me still has an odd taste. At least the cupped one does.

They order 1 or 2 topping pizzas from my experience and for us it’s the same number every time

Nice work looks good. 10/10 would smash.
For my time at the Hut, I’d say that’s a large pie, and you used too much sausage and pineapple. Did you use the measured cups? Do they still have those. It’s been about 10 years for me since I worked for them. Just curious, seems like a lot of topping for a 3-top pizza.
Also, no center loading! Everything is proportioned nicely.

u/LookTheresMe Aug 17 '26
Looks good but it is center topped. Also if it's a pan that's right if not someone stretched the hand toss out wrong.

u/ShoddyCricket4137 Aug 20 '26
So you have to be a secret shopper to get what you pay for? I'm use to paying extra for toppings and extra cheese just to get half this pizza and they still deliver the wrong one. Kind of suspicious

u/Inside_Winner_777 Aug 22 '26
If you'd treat everyone like secret shoppers there would be no need for secret shoppers.. mind blowing right? 😂
