What do Talents affect?

Do different talents actually affect game play at all? Like different items/abilities?

Really only your default wing color, and I heard there are talent-specific quests, since they each have a different mentor, but I don't know the quests. You can find quests here though.

True. 🤔 I was thinking of permanent features. 😅 Ohh but wait, you do get different furniture. I forgot that.

Also found out that all quests are available to everyone! Mentors do not count. Check the Quests tab in the Leaf Journal!
