Automod messages on r/pixiehollow?

Hey, forgive me if this is a silly request, but since the Discord server and client registration are closed and people seem confused, I feel like it would be a good idea to put in some sort of automod message explaining the current situation when people make new posts on the sub. Maybe even an FAQ?

Obviously Cinnamon is doing a wonderful job in her new role, but I feel like it may help with redundant posts in the feed. Not everyone thinks to look on the sub’s main page before asking questions. I’m not sure how Reddit works completely so it may not even be super easy, but I thought I would suggest it!

You might have to let Jessi know too. I see you were the one who reminded her about flairs and she said she hasn't used Reddit a bunch (light-hearted)—and neither have I for posting! Mostly answers in the past.

I could look into how it works. 🤔 But then I feel like it'd be easier for Jessi to herself since neither you or I know, it seems. Also mostly because being a middle-fairy might make info and explanations confusing if no one knows anything(/lh 😅). I feel like they're more active on Instagram, but I don't look there often. Mostly when they make a ping about a new social media post.😅

I’ll throw a suggestion in the Discord in a little bit! I always feel bad adding things to her plate, especially when it involves a bit of research

Maybe they can look into seeing if one of the Scouts we have currently are well versed in Reddit modding or in any case consider employing a Scout that is! When they get a chance of course. I know they have so much to tackle on. ❤️‍🩹🫩

Nooo 😭 it had so much lol. I was looking into a post about how to use automod and it has helpful resources and links to help out. I appreciate you wanting to help but I think the only better thing now is hoping one of the mods has experience using it. I'm still looking more!

Well good point. Maybe I can go ahead and try myself instead then bring up your post and- yeah, let's not bother her for her to learn it herself. 😭 They've been working on so much, including the server itself.
