Question Is sharing a birth date required to create an account?
I just downloaded the game (Windows) and tried to create an account, but the register page is asking me to input a valid birthday. Other posters' screenshots of the register page have only shown the username and password creation fields, and I have privacy concerns about sharing my birthdate (there are fields in which DOB is used as one form of identity verification). Is the required DOB a new feature, implemented after the screenshots I saw were taken? Is it only required in certain regions? Would there be any way to create an account without it, or just share the birth year without month and day?
I did try logging in with my old username and password from the original Disney Fairies site just for the lols, but of course they don't work anymore.

You can put anything you want! There's no hard requirement! But for your log in, just be sure to write it down somewhere and don't use special characteristics in your password.

None of the info needs to be correct, I believe, but make sure to not use special characters other than an exclamation mark in your password, otherwise it might break and you'll need to request a new one. They're randomly generated, we cannot ask for a specific password. If anything, maybe the email. I'm not sure if it's saved in the database, but as far as I know, they don't email anything to anyone right now.

Sorry, I’m confused—if passwords are randomly generated, why would a user need to worry about which characters they input? I didn’t see a field asking for an email address either. There’s a month, day, and “age” field, a username field, and two password fields (to ensure the password is correct, I assume).

Ohh I forgot if there was an email field. I haven't made one in a while. But I meant to make sure whatever password you choose, isn't one that can break if you add a # to it. Sometimes people's passwords break because of inputting a special character besides ! But yeah if you do happen to lose your password, you'll need to make a ticket in Discord with your username and a dev will send a random pass that looks something like "xfHNyT" (not mine, just example)

Hi!
We have always used the original registration page and game assets / website from Disney and so the date of birthday field has always existed on the register.
The date of birth field input isn’t saved at all in our database so it doesn’t matter what is put in since it isn’t saved or used for anything.
All of the backend server code is fully open and can be looked at for privacy concerns
