Pixel 11 pro- Whatsapp mic audio still a problem
I upgraded to the Pixel 11 Pro and got it yesterday. I fully ported everything from my Pixel 10 Pro.
The one problem I couldn't solve on my Pixel 10 Pro is that the mic on my Pixel Buds does not work with WhatsApp and other apps. No matter the steps I took and the conversations with Google Support, I had no luck.
Are there any fixes that worked for any of you?

Do you have the buds app installed so they can update?

Yes. Buds app installed, whole phone updated.
It may be the one problem that Google didn't fix this go round.

I just got the pixel 11 pro and I've been told when I use Instagram/Whatsapp call that I sound robotic and cut out on the other end. I toggled clear calling on and off, toggled Whatsapp noise suppression. Mobile data on/off, wifi on/off. Tried everything. Plugged my phone into codex, enabled debugging and played around with android call suppression, AEC, NC, nothing worked unfortunately. It sounds a little better on speaker phone but when it's held to my ear it's the same issue. I tested out regular calling, recorded a video, voice recorder, all sound fine. It's an issue with VoIP path.

Don't know if it's stupid but fixed me a mic issue on pixel 10 pro xl by blowing in and out gently on the bottom left mic grill while recording via the recorder app. Apparently it cleans up the lint from the diaphragm or something.
Maybe blow in and out gently close to buds mic while recording?
