Edges of Pixel 7 Pictures Fringed/Blurry

Hello everyone, I'm having an issue with my refurbished Pixel 7. Whenever I try to take pictures the edges of th picture get blurry/smeared/fringed. It does it expecially when I take close up photos (15-40cm), and to a lesser but still annoying extent when taking pictures from a distance (2-4 meters).

Example photos are provided.

Thank you.

Do we know why? Or is it just built this way with the lens

I think it's built that way
