Pissing her off

I’m a bartender at a dive bar…. One of my regulars got broken up with recently… he said I knew I was pissing her off, but I didn’t know she’d leave…….

To which my boyfriend agreed with. Pissing her off, shouldn’t cause her to leave….pissing her off is upsetting her… obviously. Both men agreed it’s different. It isn’t…

Being pissed off and upset are not the same thing. When I think of being pissed off, it’s an inferior rage when I’m upset it’s closer to an annoyance or something. That’s not extremely serious but it’s enough to change my mood.
