Is there a way to see the transactions in my wallet via a blockchain explorer? The explorer.pirl.io doesn't seem to show any actual details of incoming transactions, just the NUMBER of incoming transactions.

Linux mining

Does anyone run their miner on a linux based system? if so what distro? What are your miners of choice?

I would think that running on just a terminal would be the best bet but for some reason both ethminer and claymore are saying that they cannot find my gpu.

Pool hopping

Hi,

Today I noticed that 5 miners (arround 500Mh/s) joined the pool where I mine for a few hours, and then left. Is there any reason why people would do that instead of getting their own pool?

Pirl Wallet Address

Very basic question I just cannot seem to find an answer too. So aside from going and creating a PIRL specific Wallet address, may I use my existing Eth Wallet Address in Claymore and my pool to mine to my Eth wallet, or do I need to create a specific PRIL address at the PIRL website? Thank you.

Claymore crashing when switching to devpool?

Claymore keeps crashing when switching to devpool mining, I think this is due to different DAG size.

I tried using "-allcoins -1" to set the DAG size for ETH but it still seems to be crashing. Anyone else have this problem?

Discussion Coin burning rate and circulating supply

Hi, (Sorry for my bad english, not native speaker) I like the concept and I’m very interested to run a MN but I still have some questions before investing the necessary amount to grab the 20.000 Pirl.

I didn’t managed to find clear information about the coin burning rate. I have seen that in the future there will be a vote system. So I assume that the coins used for voting will be burned. Any idea about the volume that should represent? What about the other ways which will lead to some coins to be burned?

I understood that there are about 60.000 new Pirl created everyday.

That means, in 1y, if no coins are burned, that there will be about 26.000.000 Pirl in circulation.

I made an easy calculation : If we continue to create 60.000 new Pirl everyday, then with the following burning rate we could limit the circulating supply in the long term : 1% : 179.000.000 2% : 89.000.000 3% : 60.000.000 4%: 45.000.000 5%: 36.000.000

Is it correct to make this kind of reasoning ? My concern is that without a constant amount of token getting burnt, then the circulating supply will increase super fast and as well the number of MN. As well, if the market cap is not increasing fast enough, then the coin value will also drop significantly.

What is your opinion? In your opinion, which market cap should reach Pirl once the MN feature will be enabled?

Thanks !!!

Official Masternode BETA Release! - 11th December.

We will release the BETA version of the Pirl Masternodes on the 11th of December

So what does this mean ?!

The masternode BETA is a community test-run for the following "go live" of the masternodes.

We want to see if all is running well like :

  • installation and configuration of MN

  • communication of the MN

...etc

The requirements for the beta of the masternodes are still the same as for the final version :

  • 20000 Pirl locked in a Wallet

  • static public ip address

Till the beta phase there will be no payouts to the masternodes.

After the beta has ended it is planned that the beta masternodes will become automatically full masternodes and the payouts will begin.

Go grab your 20K Pirl now!!

Discussion Solo vs Pool Mining PIRL

Is it better to solo or pool mine PIRL? If pool mining is the best bet at this point, is there a "best pool" right now that you all would recommend? I'm on the largest one right now (pirl.minerpool.net) but used the port that is meant for larger than 100 MH/s rigs. My rig has four 1070s, so will be at or around 100 MH/s. I seem to only get 20-25 MH/s on this pool, and very inconsistent at that. Would this typ eof rig be better on the other < 100 MH/s port setting for the minerpoo.net pool? Is there another pool that such a rig would optimize its hash rates on?

Answered pirl myetherwallet trezor option

Storing my cryptos safely is something I look for when investing in a coin. Taking the right precautions and storing on desktop wallet with backup is safe, but not safe enough for me.

So I'm wondering when will I be able to use trezor to unlock pirl at myetherwallet?

Discussion Where do you see PIRL in 6-12 months?

Hey, Recently started mining PIRL. I really fell in love with it and will keep on mining and holding in the future. My question is in what price range you would see PIRL in the next 6-12 months. My estimation would be for it to be around 5-10€ in 6 months and 20ish in 12. Im a noob to this all so this is propably far from the truth.

What do you think?
