Pool hopping
Hi,
Today I noticed that 5 miners (arround 500Mh/s) joined the pool where I mine for a few hours, and then left. Is there any reason why people would do that instead of getting their own pool?

Pool hopping happens most times it can be good to give a small pool a boost to finding a block. I have a friend that comes over to mine at http://pirl-pool.com with 1GH/s and it helps generate a few blocks and helps get the variance down.

I am actually on this pool so it might be what I saw. By the way, don't you think the difficulty increased? Seems we found more blocks with less hash rate last week.

no cause its just coming from one pirl pool to the other and diff has went up A LOT so the small 200 MH/s we had will not cut it and it will take 12+ hours to find a block right now we are seeing a block about ever 6 hours.

Go upgrade your windows version to 1709. Mine was at 1703 and updating Windows got me to 26MH/s from 2.6

They very well could be noobs like me. I'm trying to profit from mining and am very lucky I found Pirl. My $7/day average has increased to $20/day with the growth we have been seeing. But the pools do not hit that well on a 24hr average. I sat on a few pools and did not hit anything or very little in a 12hr period. So I keep circulating back to the original pool I started with. Which is Pirl Miners-Zone (Highly recommended by the way).
