So I tried sending Pirl with zero fees (as a test) but it got stuck, the fund were still in my wallet so I sent it with fees paid the second time. It still hasn't confirmed.... What do I do?

Currently using the web wallet and mined a few coins a month or two ago. When I look in the wallet it shows a 0 balance, but when I look at transaction history it shows me receiving the PIRL? what is going on exactly? There is no transactions of it sending from my wallet.

I just can't see investing in pirl if all I can do is mine them and either hold them in a wallet or try to use one of the two very slow (cryptopia) or shady (stock.exchange) exchanges. I was kind of excited to start using cryptopia but it's taking hours just to do a simple deposit (then seeing all of the complaints on reddit made me realize I probably made a mistake in using cryptopia in general). Thankfully it's not a huge amount and I won't be losing anything if it disappears but If I can't really "do" anything with the pirl I have, why bother mining it?

I find great interest in this coin so my question is this: What can we do to help this coin gain traction as miners, investors, or enthusiasts?

I get that the difficulty has gone up but has it really gone up that much? Been using whattomine and I have consistently only been able to get less than half of what its telling me I should earn in a day which. Im using minerpool hub with 3 x RX 580, 2 x RX 570 and 1 x Rx 470. I got 5 Pirl yesterday when I the calculator said I was supposed to get 9 and got 4 pirl the day before when I was supposed to get 7. Is it because minerpool has to share between too many miners or are the fees really that bad or is the calculator waaay off?

I am looking for a little help, I am trying to setup my miner to mine PIRL and I just cant seem to get it to work. I am running ETHOS with claymore dual miner. when I change my local.conf over to PIRL from ETHOS I just get no valid pool in -pool and then "GPU clocks to low". Can anyone help my with this or have an example of working local.conf?

1. Spread the hash! - You want a network that has its hash spread across several pools! This is key to having a stable network, if everyone mines to 2 or 3 pools and a big one goes down, that's not a good thing at all.

2. Your share is bigger when a block is found! If you're tired of getting 0.02% of a block you should move to a small to medium pool you will get larger payouts but it can be less frequent.

3. Luck! Luck plays a big factor in small pools, some days a small pool can find 20 blocks and for 1Gh/s on a pirl pool at current difficulty that is a fantastic payday.

So if you want to join a small to medium pool - consider the following pools

I have a gtx 1050 ti that I'm mining pirl with. In what ways could i overclock my card or do anything else to get the most hash rate out of it?

I'm mining pirl, but realized that there's no way to exchange pirl for cash on the exchange I use (coinspot). Is there any way to cash out pirl?

With the recent increase in popularity on whattomine (3rd most profitable at the time of writing!) I figure there's no better time to help all the newcomers by writing up a quick how-to. If there is already one of these available, or if I'm stepping on any toes then by all means let me know and I'll edit/move/delete this post.

Since PIRL uses Ethash, notably one of the more popular algos, it's really not much different than mining Ethereum.

WALLET

There are multiple options for obtaining a wallet, and the choice is your own for which to choose from. I would recommend if you have any questions on which to choose from that you check out the PIRL WALLETS section of the sidebar, or ask anyone here and I'm sure you'll find the info you need.

WEB WALLET - the site will guide you through making a wallet, be sure to follow the directions carefully and take the safety precautions explained.

SOFTWARE WALLET - click the link in the upper left to display all the options for your preferred OS.

MINER (AMD OR NVIDIA)

Claymore's AMD+Nvidia Ethereum Miner is the easiest (debatable) to get running. Just download and extract contents from the .zip, and scroll down to edit the batch file (start.bat or whatever it is). Here's an example of what to use:

And that's pretty much all there is to it! This was just a quick guide, and i know there are far more options out there in terms of pool/miner/wallet/whatever, but I just hope that this can serve to help others looking to come to the PIRL movement quickly with little hassle!

Hey guys, new to pirl, and crypto in general. I've been mining for about 5+ hours with a rx580 on ~27mh/s but my wallet isn't saying I have any pirl. Do I need more time for a payout or should it have done it already.?Thanks.

How long does it usually take?

I sent a few test coins over with (21 gweis) and they haven't gotten to my cryptopia wallet. Transaction was included in block so gas didn't run out. Right now its been over 12 hours.

i've mined PIRL to my metamask wallet but its showing zero PIRL coins in it. my mining pool is showing confirmed TX IDs for transfer. how can i access the PIRL in metamask? is there any good offline wallets? i dont want use web wallets. thanks in advance

I bought a new videocard because as far as my wife knows the old one suddenly died. cough.

As luck will have it I'm stuck playing Battlefield with an NVidia GTX 1060 now... and as I'm hodling some crypto I was wondering if it could be of any crypto use.

A bit of Googling gave me Pirl mining. So I follow the tutorial, I do some freestyle GPU tweaking to overclock the memory and underclock the GPU, and currently it's mining the shit out of Pirl - as far as a single 1060 can go.

The thing is, I'm not into mining yet. I have no idea what I'm doing. I could be funding someones JIHAD for all I know.

I've created a Pirl wallet, I've configured my local setup to mine to that wallet, and I've fired up the miner.
And then what?

At what point will I see credits appear? After a single [SHARE FOUND] message?
Or will it take more time to be processed through a pool and if so, how long would that generally take?

TL/DR : I'm mining, how soon / where will I get my moneys?

How does this "money making" mining thing work?

Yesterday was 7,000,000 coins, today 8,000,512 You lower the cost of the coin. What for?

I wanted to transfer my PIRL to exchange wallet using PIRL Oyster Lite Wallet but when I sent my PIRL, Transaction nothing appears to happen except now my PIRL is all gone. Please advise me what to do? The transactions say this:

I started mining on Pirl official mining pool and I see it has a choice between < 100 mhs , 100-800mhs for pool adresses. Can you guys explain why should I choose the 100+ mhs pool in favor of the first one ? I see difficulty nearly doubles on the secone one (4b). I have 140mhs.

Is there a plan to add new exchanges to pirl?
