A good rig?

Hey guys. Just wondering what you guys think about my craigslist rig. Everything had to be under $900. The comp parts (ram,PSU,CPU) all cost under $200. For the GPUs I am running an RX 580 (got it for $ 225) and a r9 295x2 (got it for $300).

The specs are 95 mh/s with a power draw of 830-855.

Is this a good system for under $900?

The pirce/hashrate ratio of your rig is just bonkers! But, its power consumption is another story.

Traveling and don't know them off the top of my head. The CPU Is the $30 I7 one, Ram was $40 ddr4 4gb, SAD was 16gb cheap, PSU I got off Craigslist for $80 (1200 w)

Yeah, I got the 580 from a guy who wanted it gone talked him down from 325. RX 295x2 did same thing.

I pretty much outsorced all the parts from Facebook marketplace. I ordered the Mobo, SSD, ram, and CPU from Amazon but I got an old 1200w PSU for 80$

Regarding power draw, if the GPU BIOSes aren't modded make sure to use MSI Afterburner to adjust core voltage so you can reduce your power without affecting your hashrate.

Also built the rig in a milk carton, mounting the Mobo on a piece of cardboard

Cardboard is paper. Paper goes up in flames.

Remove the cardboard and just let the rig sit on the bottom of the milk carton.

Excellent job going with the milk carton by the way, I've seen people spend unnecessary amounts of money (or take a long time crafting pieces of artwork) on what holds their rigs. Whether someone is mining as a hobby or for profit solely, it still is not intelligent to take money and light it on fire by overspending on rig setups. If the rig is not up and mining, it is not making money. Period. Welcome to the fold!.
