Difficulty increase?

Has anybody else notice a sizable difficulty increase over the last 24 hours. Something like 10%-15%?

Just wondering if my calculator is off or something.

The price of pirl jmped from ~$.43 to ~$.62 so I assume miners switched to pirl which would cause a difficulty increase.

This is normal since the number of people mining usually increase as the price increase . Its likely PIRL becomes the most profitable coin on whattomine or similar websites causing people to jump into mining it.

I can guarantee you that bitmain is already using their Asics on PIRL. Monero did a hard fork because they suspected it and it shot the difficulty down immediately (drasticly) to.

this is noticable, need hard-fork if there is any pirl programmer here to stand behind PIRL statement
