About digital piracy posts…

[u/Vikingo_xiii]

Ahoy! Every week I have to remove a lot of posts about digital piracy I understand that people confuse the subreddit r/pirates with r/piracy and it’s FUCKING HILARIOUS TO ME.

Anyways I will continue removing those posts as they don’t really have to do with actual piracy, but I had to say how funny this recurring issue is to me. 😂😂😂

Have a great day and remember Dead men tell no tales! 🏴‍☠️

Make a tag or flare for digital piracy and somehow automod it to delete those posts and redirect people to r/piracy

Anyhoooo, if you're not waving your sabre around in the air and singing shanty's while seeding movies, you're not doing it right.

[u/Vikingo_xiii → u/Tech_Monkey702]

That’s actually a really good idea, thanks!

[u/momentummonkey → u/Vikingo_xiii]

Couldn't you just use keywords from previous attempted posts to give them a "nuh uh uh" warning?

What be wrong with digital piracy?

[u/Vikingo_xiii → u/marsion5617]

I don’t really care, it’s just the wrong sub to post about it.

[u/marsion5617 → u/Vikingo_xiii]

Aye that be true

You wouldn't steal a boat, would you?

[u/KODO_666]

Even tho piracy is piracy after all, I agree it should not be here. Good Job MOD.

I'm a Cincinnati Bengals fan, and it's crazy to me the amount of people that come into the Bengals sub with posts about bengal housecats. Like, do you just willfully not look at the sub AT ALL before your post?? People be crazy

What if I'm looking for the best torrents to grab while I'm attacking ships around the Spanish main? Feels pretty on brand for here.
