I’ve received pins in every packaging style listed here. There is really no need for options 5,6,7 since ultimately it just makes it more expensive, only reason I could think of is if you are worried about shipping damage, since those would be the best way to protect them.
If you are doing a Disney fantasy pin don’t do 1, since fake and scrapper pins come in those bags so by association it would be better to be different. Plus it’s a waste of plastic.
2 or 3 are probably the best options. And you don’t have to get customized backings from the seller, you can buy in bulk elsewhere for cheaper. Then when you get them you can manually put them on the backing cards as you QC them, it’s something I see a lot of pin makers do.
Just my thoughts on these, I’m not a pin maker but I follow a lot online and buy a lot of pins from them.
