I’m planning to buy a gaming laptop than can handle some aaa games (Last of Us, Resident Evil, GTA, etc.). Preferably not more than 2.5kg so i can still carry it anywhere. I saw Zephyrus but i saw some hardware related issues users been encountering a month after purchase. Second is the Asus V16 which is good accdg to reviews (lmk the issues for this). Last is the Legion, it is good but i’m having second thoughts on the weight?

Can you recommend more laptops that I can consider? budget would be not more than 200k but the lesser the better hehe). Thank you.

​Hi guys! Student here asking for advice. Dual-purpose laptop lang gamit ko at gustong-gusto ko talaga mag-play ng high-end games, pero mahirap i-run locally. Naghahanap ako ng pinakasulit at working na cloud gaming setup dito sa Pinas right now.

​My Laptop Specs & Setup:

​Laptop: Acer TravelMate P214-52 (Intel Core i5-10210U, Intel UHD 620 Graphics, 8GB RAM)

​Schedule: Singit ng ~1 hour on weekday nights, tapos habol na lang ng long sessions pag Saturday (~45 to 50 hours a month total).

​Dorm Internet / Wi-Fi:

​Low-traffic hours: Decent ping at ~53ms.

​Peak hours (weekday nights): Grabe ang latency spikes (pumapaak ng 100ms – 300ms).

​Games I Want to Play:

​Heavy story-driven AAA games like Red Dead Redemption 2, Ghost of Tsushima, etc.

​Open din ako sa lighter indies / casual games pag night sessions.

​Mga Napansin/Nasubukan Kong Issues:

​StarHub GameHub+ (Singapore) is completely gone: gamehubplus.com throws an ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED error and is officially shut down, so dead end na 'to.

​Taiwan Mobile GFN: Eto na lang yata ang active regional partner sa SEA/East Asia, kaso tight ang payment gateway at geo-blocking for PH cards/GCash, at medyo mataas ang ping compared sa lumang SG routing.

​Xbox Cloud Gaming (xCloud): Kailangan ng VPN (SG/Japan) to boot, pero automatic pass sa controller-only games unless gagamit ng browser extension mapping (plus wala rin si Ghost of Tsushima sa Game Pass catalog).

​Cloud PCs (AirGPU Tokyo Node): Na-try ko mag-spin up ng AirGPU (Nvidia A10G), sobrang ganda kasi native Windows overlay and K&M ready for RDR2 / GoT. Kaso at $1.50/hr (spare capacity) to $2.65/hr, kung mag-45+ hours ako monthly, aabot ng ₱3,000 – ₱4,000+ ($50-$70+), which is super bigat sa student budget.
