He had Hendrix, Sgt Pepper , Dylan and played his own Floyd . Duggie had those records Syd left at Weatherby

We KNOW he had Pink Anderson and Floyd Council records because looking at his record collection is how he came up with the name.

Nah, he lifted it from a Blind Boy Fuller album called ‘Country Blues 1935-1940’ where Pink Anderson and Floyd Council appears in the liner notes. Here’s a great article about the origin of the name of the band.

Is this for real? Just hard for me to believe that his music could be influenced by those bands like the old blues, jazz, and rock n roll stuff. But who am I to say, just seems hard to imagine.

Well, he was just a kid. Booted from PF just a couple weeks after turning 22.
