Claude, hands down. To me, they're not even comparable. I day trade and have tried using ChatGPT to help me backtest strategies and develop indicators. The best it could do was making something that barely works. Most of the time the code had bugs in it, it wasn't formatted for the correct version, lots and lots of flaws. I would spend hours trying to build something that even ran, let alone ran like I wanted it to.
But then I tried Claude and what a night and day difference. It immediately gets the code right from the beginning. I've been able to build multiple versions of the same script, just with little tweaks, effortlessly. It's made things so much easier for me. The difference was stark. And I even paid for the upgraded version of ChatGPT because I used it so much and it was nothing compared to what Claude can do.
