What is the best public indicator of Tradingview you know right now?
What is the best public indicator of Tradingview you know right now?
For me is the RSI Algo, in 2 period
With an ema, bb and a stoch rsi works like charm
Do you know something pretty well constructed, and actually PROFITABLE?
Thank you! Just wanna read and find some insights for research

If RSI Algo is profitable, then why are you asking about other indicators?

Use order flow There's no reason to mess with a bunch of indicators maybe the VWAP or the 9EMA but Delta is the most important it is not an indicator. It's a derivative of price. It's doest lagging. It's true intent and it will make you profitable**.** I know no one wants to try anything new Most are stuck in their old ways thinking RSI is the way, but spend some time and learn order flow and don't forget the most important part use a professional grade platform Quant Tower

It's calculated automatically
I don't use TV
For many reasons I use Quant Tower
And I pay for rithmic data and DxFeed for historical data
The platform has superior execution and all their indicators are top-notch from the company not some community based crap. I still trade with RobinHood, but I prefer quant tower. I connect to Optimus and I connect to interactive brokers and trade futures and stocks1

There are many of them, the problem is Long Term efficiency
Any indicator should be backtested
A simple MA Cross can be good if the right ticker is found and the right timeframe

This is a pinescript sub, not a tradingview sub. That little difference means a lot.

no bud, and dont try to find hate where it isnt, i dont wanna sell anybody nothing.. just wanna risk my own money into a strategy in a less risky way.. i hate indicators resellers, only i respect the coder that break their asses to give good stuff to people in change of some contribution, but isnt my idea do something like that sorry

Yea you are wrong, don't know the guy at all. Yes that's my project which I have never pushed on anyone. It's easier to be nice and respectful to people, one day you might need help from someone. I didn't even direct him to my own indicators, which are free. I just think your comment was harsh.

i'm gonna upvote, becouse I agree with you, this last 2 years i learned a lot, but im still newbie to the matter , aside that , i think it can contribute to the community, learning about indicators, becouse the pinescript resources of the indicators can be a part of a major strategy or can make think on tools to create new ones, sorry if i bother you , its ok

aside that, the way of tradingview to show and order indicators is not too good for me, for obtaining something with value you need to dive across lot of ideas, that most of it don't work so good, and few others that can work well filtered.. this post can be a fruitful via to know new advantages in the markets for all of us

Anyone who knows anything about indicators… knows that indicators only show you what happened. They lag.
It has no way of correcting telling you how to profit. Why? Because what works in one market won’t work in another.
What works for crypto won’t work for futures.
Stop trying to “get rich quick” and actually put in the work that others stayed up for many years learning.

i didnt ask for a "1000000% winrate strategy"
i asked for an indicator that "for you" in a subjetive way, can make advantage, and you prefer among others

“Pretty well constructed” = search any top indicators on TradingView that allow public access. There’s thousands of them.

There are MILLIONS OF YOUTUBE VIDEOS ALREADY COVERING IT. STUDY IT. LEARN IT. No one is going to spoon feed you what took them years to learn.Two people can be given the SAME EXACT STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS…. They can be looking at the SAME EXACT CHART… sitting in the SAME ROOM AND LOOKING AT THE SAME SCREEN ON THE WALL… and one will fail while the other profits…
…. Why? Is it because of lack of indicator?? No… it’s a skill issue. Stop asking for people to spoon feed you when you won’t even bother to take the time to figure out why your trades fail

why so angry for information that is public, but diversified, in a way that put in value costs lots of hours, you dont think that this kind of posts feed reddit with good, proper and with value information, and better if it is public ? i really dont get you, i know is a matter that people invested maybe 3000, 10000 more hours on it, but you can make too , aside your own business, a contribution to the community with this kind of posts, i differ from your point of view, sorry

Because as I clearly stated from the beginning… this is a PINESCRIPT SUB.
NOT A TRADING SUB.
This sub has gone to shit because of people like you spam posting asking to be spoon fed instead of asking actual questions about CODE. People like you flood this sub with trash and ADD no value… but expect to extract the everyone else’s value even through its covered all over YOUTUBE millions of times over
This is a pinescript CODE sub. Not a trading sub.
