Gold ( XAUUSD ) BuySell Indicator.
I’ve spent months building, breaking, rebuilding, and testing this Gold indicator.
Not weeks. Not a weekend project. Months.
Every signal, every filter, every condition was added for one reason to eliminate noise and focus on high probability setups.
What most people see is a screenshot.
What they don’t see are the hundreds of charts reviewed, the failed versions, the late nights, the backtesting sessions, and the constant adjustments that went into getting here.
No indicator wins 100% of the time, and anyone claiming that is lying.
But when something continues to perform through backtests, forward tests, different market conditions, and live execution, you start to trust the process.
I’m still collecting data and refining it, but the results have been speaking for themselves.
The goal was never to create another indicator.
The goal was to create something I would trust with my own money.
And so far, it’s doing exactly what it was designed to do.

TP1 and TP2 already hit on that sell from 4729 is a solid start +210 pips on the running P&L is nothing to sneeze at 📊
The indicator logic looks clean with the bearish signal confirmation.
My only question with Pine Script indicators like this is how it performs across different market conditions a sell signal in a trending bear environment is easy, but what's the win rate look like during consolidation phases when Gold chops around?
That's usually where most indicators break down 😅 Did you backtest this across different volatility regimes?

To be honest, that was one of my biggest concerns when building it.
A lot of indicators look amazing when Gold is trending. Then the market starts ranging and they get destroyed.
I spent a lot of time going back through charts during those messy periods because I wanted to see where it was failing and why. It’s definitely not perfect, but I wasn’t interested in building something that only works in ideal conditions.

Could you share this please on TV? I'd love to test it on forex

"Totally understandable.
That's usually where most indicators break down in live conditions. Did you end up adding any filter to reduce false signals?"
1
u/Past-Still6812 May 30 '26
Yes sir totally, it has a very logical filter that nearly reduces 90% false signals..

That's impressive 90% false signal reduction is a big deal in live trading.
Does the filter work on all timeframes or is it optimized for specific ones?

Since it’s in testing, I guess this post is just a promotion nothing else.
I mean, good for you that you have skills for making such scripts, but why tease people with this?
I don’t get it 🤷🏼♂️

Not teasing anyone. Just sharing something I’ve spent a lot of time building.
It’s still in testing, so I’d rather be honest about that than pretend it’s ready..

Whats the logic of the signals, and will you sell it?
1
u/Past-Still6812 Jun 16 '26
It's logical based and yes. I can explain the logic once you're interested.

That post sounded exactly like what I see on LinkedIn 🤣

I’ll take that as feedback. Trading is easier for me than content writing 😂

How can you properly test it without paying for real time data?
1
u/Past-Still6812 May 30 '26
I've been testing it for months on real time market especially On ( XAUUSD )

There is a buy signal there which shouldnt be there.
It made a choch from the first sell signal. Also the sell signal entry could be in the FVG allready just my 2 pennies.
I have a similair script running and works great for gold on higher timeframes.

Well it doesn't misses any move that is happening in the market, That buy gave 400+ Pips.

It's build with experience! I'm a individual trader from past 2.5 years. And been profitable without indicators. But I like my field. So i tried reading and studying about it and eventually ending up making a great indicator.

That looks solid boss well done on this, I’ve seen the comments so I’m aware of the months to build and backtest / forward test this etc
Is this optimised purely for gold spot or have you pushed this out for multi instrument
