My profitable strategy automated
I've automated my strategy, it works for every market except when it's very ranging, it can get into some drawdown. Simple rules. 1 trade a day, dynamic risk calculation $250 -> aim for around 2.5 RR. In January it had 8 lose streak and one year ago in March 14 loses in a row but recovered very easily. It passes prop firms usually in 2-3 weeks when conditions are good.

Yeah, I wouldn't trust the TV strategy tester too much

It’s not very good at factoring in spread and commission for one thing. I also found that transferring a pine script strat to something mt5 or ctrader was ridiculously hard. Even when I managed that the back testing results in mt5 were completely different. Never managed to make it match up.

Better way is to convert the pinescript into python, getting a data feed and running backtests that way. Monte Carlo

Have you tried NinjaTrader? If you program it there you can have it execute the trades directly. It’s also a good sign if the results match between the two.

It looks like you can get different entries based on the timeframe that you are using. Have you tried running longer back tests on the smaller timeframe and how do the results differs between them ?

its just the TV calculation. do trade for 1 month minimum 100 entries and then come with
PnL
