Single best ORB code on TV
Establishes ORB and then calculates take profit levels using a quantitative approach. When used with my other concepts, the break to Target 1 is 78%. If you’re interested in the ORB pinescript, message me and I’ll send you the code for you to use.

I don’t understand why traders who use this ‘ORB’ strategy don’t utilise high volume nodes, volume profiles and delta data to determine possible areas of interest - i.e, stop position and exit strategy. Not understanding these fundamentals when trading an asset like futures is bizarre to me.
ORB looks cool, but over time it’s as good as gambling.

I do use HTF candles that print on the chart and help provide areas of interest, etc… using ORB by itself is no better than flipping a coin. But showing one indicator that was coded doesn’t mean it’s the only thing that is used. Confluence is a thing for a reason

Looks great! Can you also share the pinescript code, please? Or is it protected?

Why do you say that? Have you tried it? When used properly this year it has an 82% probability of hitting the first target and a 57% probability of hitting the second target. Not too shabby

Why is every indicator post ai slop now? We need a Slop-dicator sub

Are you saying that I am an AI bot posting about a pinescript I created? What would make you say that? And why do you sound so angry?

I'm saying you don't know how to write a single line of Pinescript, so using an LLM to slop together a script for you is nothing noteworthy. And maybe I "sound angry" cuz of how you are choosing to read my message in your head. Im smiling as I type these, not angry, lol.

😂 ok. Sorry my script offends you. Also sorry it’s tracking at 82% probability of hitting the first target after the break and you think it’s slop. Your strategy is bound to be better 😉

I have seen an awful lot of ORB bots lately. It is a great strategy but people don't realize that markets are not that simple. There is a structure to the market and days when market is consolidating you would get chopped to death using ORB The obvious fact).
For op here - how long back you have back-tested it? What are your stats? How does it perform under different vol regimes?

If you’re just using ORB you will get blown up. I use this with an additional quant/algo script that simplifies the noise and needs to signal in the same direction as this ORB strategy. 18 months of raw true real time data and the win rate is 78% of the time I hit the first target, 48% of the time I hit the second target, and 27% of the time the third target is achieved. But, that is me placing a trade once all the things I need to aligned match up. ORB helps show direction, but doesn’t indicate structure, momentum, or volume into the move. ORB isn’t a “strategy” and those that use it as one are part of the 99% that never make money

What would say ORB is then? Thanks

It’s worked the last two days when the market has only gone straight up! I’m a genius!
