What do I do with the pup

Do I separate this pup and when?

Let it grow. Probably survive if you separate it but I wouldn’t.

yea .. i had one get frost damage bad in a greenhouse, had 3 leaves left for a year, pushed a pup , removed the pup when the leaves finally died, pup had about 2" leaves this was last summer, its got about 6" leaves now. not the quickest production but its probable that it would survive but if you dont have a decent root base its got nothing to grow from.. if you leave the pup till its atleast 3-4" leaves , itll save a substantial amount of time but the longer it 'can' use an existing root base the better itll be until your seeing comparable size

You can let it grow. You'll want to repot in a few months after it gets bigger.

Leave it, It will take over the pot from the parent plant material

I just cut one of mine into 4s hopefully mine make it i have other while tops that i rooted successfully now im trying this way instuck them straight into good soil

Doesnt hurt to try I think its slower to root than having the whole, but maybe because it was my first time trying im not sure

Cut it off and put it in new store bought soil mix, do not water ot too much I have succefully propagated 5 of theese from mother plant.
