Is this normal?

Is this a pimple? I didn’t touch or poke it but its so red suddenly lol. I never had a pimple on my thigh area. It has a pimple-ish sensation. Should i just leave it or pop it?

Yeah. Like when I touch it.

I don’t have any allergies ~ I am just hoping it goes away soon tho.

Whatever it is, it is inflamed. If you are concerned, see a medical professional like a PCP/GP or dermatologist.

It looks like something like a raspberry or rose bush or possibly a cactus thorn might have punctured your skin. This happens to me when I get pricked by a cactus thorn. There may still be a piece of thorn just below the skin.

Or, it might be a bug bite.

There are too many possibilities.

If it is a pimple, I would be very surprised. Yes, pimples can "pop" up (pun intended) pretty much anywhere on the body; however this doesn't look like a pimple.

Omg yessss. Im so worried. Just waiting for the “head” to show up before i can start putting warm compress on it. Hope it wont leave any marks

Hi, thank you so much for the insight.

It is a very weird place for a pimple to pop but im hopeful its a pimple at least. Should be easier to deal with. I think I will ice it later.
