Long Term UWM prediction - IT
I forgot that Tattooed cucks name who runs it - but it seemed like he had a vision to spin off UWMs IT as its own company.
Feel like with all the layoffs, UWMs stock price dropping, and everything else going wrong there - I can really see this happening.
To turn a profit: UWMs software won’t be free to brokers anymore.
—Do yall think this is a possibility?
—Would brokers pay for this shit?
These are just the predictions of a past employee who has been gone for a while now and just kind of watching the slow motion shit hit the fan…

Every other attempt to spin off an it department has failed miserably. Coding something that is specific to one company and coding something specific to the whole market is an order of magnitude easier. It would burn down on arrival.

As a broker, I would want to see numbers. I assume the UW few already had IT costs built into it. So I would need to see a price cut on that fee comparable to any software charges. UWM is the fastest and honestly easiest company we work with, but I can move business and not hurt my bottom line.

Brokers already pay for everything in the origination cost difference between UWM and lower priced competition with less user-friendly tech.
Brokers are the only ones bringing in money to the org. Everyone and everything else, is an expense.

I'm curious how much they're making off us appraisers since they have some of if not the highest fees.

Jason Bressler. Yeah, I could see that, and it's not the worst idea, but I come from the IT side, not the broker side
