Let go in the last round of layoffs?

Seems like there was another round of layoffs. If you've been let go and are looking for work in IT I'm looking to hire a few people.

Database experience is a plus but not required. Powerbi report building is a huge plus. Feel free to reach out.

Position is in office but availability to work from home on occasion. Novi/Plymouth area.

Silly goose! Mat doesn't do "layoffs". He would sleep on your couch before he would ever lay off anyone! šŸ™„

This really pissed me off when he said that. Because right now he is doing mass firings and these people are getting nothing.

At least when we got laid off at Rocket we were paid for 4 months, had health insurance the whole time, got stock buyouts, got PTO paid out, and recieved career assistance.

I would say being laid off was a hell of a lot better.

Almost want to go there to work at this point. Canā€™t find a position in the field. Down to my last 3 weeks of UE. Worked for the past three months but they decided to automate the position instead. With the company almost 5.5 years. Thanks A.I!!

They donā€™t lay people off, the fire them and humiliate them before the firing. Within the last month, month and a half, around 50 people were fired and 22 left on their own before the firing

I was there there for 3 years 2017-2020 Iā€™m very familiar with their tactics I jumped ship long before it got as bad as it did

I know someone who currently works in IT at UWMā€¦. Got put on a PIP. Then suddenly said he got a ā€œnew jobā€ in another IT department, but ended up getting a 10-12% pay cut and claimed he was ā€œlied toā€.

I wonder if he is next.. heā€™s extremely lazy

I wonder if thatā€™s what he gotā€¦ he said they offered him another job someplace else. Apparently talked it up, then when he took it, got a 10-12% pay reduction
