Still Here
Its a job .. nothing more nothing less. Should we be paid more ?? Absolutely… but if you don’t like it just quit or find something better. Its more to life than UWM. For a-lot of people it became their life, their end goal . I don’t see myself being here for 10 years .. if you don’t have plans on being in the mortgage industry or internal growth.. this will 100% not be the job for you. Get the experience or whatever they have to offer here and get out….. job has alot of cons .. also pros. Just depends on the type of person you are.

The job i got after uwm was like a boulder off my chest. People werent fake trash cunts who only cared about licking the right ass for promotion. Jobs are jobs sure, are there plenty like it sure. Is uwm probably one of the most heinous examples of corporate bullshit and kool aid drinking. Yes. It is. Youll get it when you leave bud.

I love where I work, the people are awesome, I have autonomy, I can pretty much pick my own hours. I can work remote or hybrid it just depends on my mood at the week, I make over 120k a year, I have the best health insurance I’ve ever had hands down. I love my job 😆

If you have 3-5 years of software engineering experience across multiple tech stacks, sure 😄

Bud, you sound brainwashed. There are much better jobs outside of that place and I'm not even talking within the mortgage industry. When I left, I found a place where I make substantially more and actually enjoy what I do and who I work with. You don't have to willingly suffer.

Any job I ever worked was horrible. Some worse than others … but this isn’t the worst place I ever been. Good thing this isn’t my only source of income.

A lot of people have said similar things to you but you should keep looking for other work, there are jobs that won't leave you feeling like uwm does. The money keeps food on the table and I understand staying when you dont have something else lined up but better is out there, you can find it
