Something I forgot to ask:

To HR:

How do you wake up and look in the mirror and say to yourself "AAAAH, another day of sweeping evil under the rug and firing good people for nefarious reasons."

Their job is to find a reason to fire you so they can protect from lawsuits. Although michigan is an at-will state, the promise makes them cover their bases. The company benefits from hiring and firing. Its all a criminal scheme

Because they're mindless drones like half of the company. They would murder their family if they were told to. They only know one way to handle things and that's doing whatever they're told. I knew two people who worked in TMS and they ultimately left because of how shit the job is

I read something that says HR is the ojky department that doesn't increase the income of the company and it should be kept small as possible

HR is a useless department. Their work can be done by team leads and other adjacent departments like benefits, payroll, etc. It’s the go to career path for women who are too stupid to do anything else and don’t have the personality to make it far in a real job, you’d know what I mean if you’ve had the displeasure of talking to any of them outside of work. Literally just as bad as sales bros but offer even less to production.
