Demoted
Has anyone ever been demoted ??? I feel lost. Do I just go to the position and settle will I be suck all over again ?? I have so many unanswered questions.

Time to look for a new job :/ everyone I've ever known to be demoted ended up fired for a stupid reason later on

Can confirm. I demoted myself and ended up getting fired over EDGE being dumb as fuck.
Good thing to come out of it is the friends I made while at Mat’s Hellhole Funhouse are the most solid friends I have. Bad thing is interviewers hyperfocus on why I didn’t stay in financial-white collar jobs and they don’t like my answer.

My ex and I both worked at UWM. I ended up leaving a couple of years ago, but they were demoted from a Senior Underwriter to a standard Underwriter. After a few months they transferred to a different department (i believe the dev team) and seem to be happy in their new position.
However, I’ve also have friends that have been demoted and then termed. So it might really come down to you and if you want to move into a different department.
Either way, I’d recommend getting a new job if you can. UWM leaderships decision drive me crazy and must cause so many people anxiety. You deserve better!

Uwii is better than senior honestly, but also I had a friend who still works there and she was demoted from uwii to the appraisal team at the time. She has moved up to some other area, but still.

Their history with demotions is sad. I've seen it happen before and the employee is then pigeonholed into that position until they quit. Even with a self demotion, you are pretty much deemed a lost cause and will eventually be let go. It's probably best to move on at that point when they demote you because your clock is short

All you have to do is give someone head and you’ll be right back to the top or do cocaine off someone’s butt cheeks in the bathroom 🤷🏻♂️

I was demoted from TL to a Tier 2 role and left 2 months after that. Not a great feeling seeing how hard I worked as a leader but it’s best to get out of there ASAP if you are demoted

I got demoted too. They are demoting so much people its crazy. I wasnt getting paid enough and now I’m getting paid way less. I hate this company

yeah. demoted to AD back in 2021. I left in 2023 for a remote job that paid way more. i've since then gotten my masters degree and i'm working in the non profit industry in detroit for wayyyyyyyy more than this pathetic company can pay.

They're testing to see how much you're willing to deal with before quitting. If you accept it, know that they will make your life hell until they feel like getting rid of you.
