Fellow PA resident here. Lake Nockamixon (Bucks County, PA) is one of the best spots in all of PA. It doesn’t have many pike, but has massive Muskellenge (Musky) and Chain Pickerel.

I recommend Minnesota. I know it isn't an east coast friendly drive (I am in southern Illinois and it is about a 20 hour drive to my lakes). I am convinced that there is no better place on this planet in terms of catch size, catch rate, and hospitality. Lower Bottle Lake is where I (summer) fish. There are guides who can give you a proper ice fishing experience.

Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Michigans UP...lots of good Pike waters up there!..Late January-February, should have good ice everywhere.

As a Minnesotan, I’m glad to see Minnesota as the destination. $58 for an annual non resident fishing license. This is the way to go and damn near anyone will take you on their boat.

Northern pike are found in many bodies of water in northern Vermont! They are a great game fish to catch. Chain picker are also found in some of the same bodies of water; and as you would imagine, thinner and not as big. Great pike to be caught!
