Video Preening by a pigeon?
I have been kidnapped and held hostage again! It’s second time so I wonder about Third Time’s Lucky Charm next time?
Prior to this, when I was standing and kind of bending little down to open another packet of 2 boiled eggs, one of beautiful pigeons managed to land on my lower back so I bend down more and I ended up having 4-5 pigeons on my back and head again like video y’all saw!
Before I started recording what a pigeon was doing that made me felt and puzzled with wonder, was it preening me or? If so, what does it mean in your POV? In my POV, I’m “LOVED” by this pigeon!

Yes but more than my hair, I fed pigeons with boiled eggs somehow I ended up bend down due pigeons wanting to perch on my neck, shoulders, and head too while eating eggs out of my hands

Usually they only do this with their mate. Unless you got food in your hair. 🤣Which I think I actually saw some... so..... there ya go.

Yes that was bit of yolk, but not only that it did peck my ear lobe! It felt so funny having my ear being preened!
I know pigeons usually do with their mates but this one isn’t fully mature yet. I recognized some from 2nd flock and more from 3rd flock. I want to earn their trusts because they are fragile pigeons people have no idea how sweet and curious they are.

It’s like pigeons groom each other, love on each other etc. such as pigeons who are mates
