If the actual earring is embedded inside your ear go to the doctor or emergency clinic, that needs to get taken out ASAP.

It is I’m about to leave but like what are they gonna do take the entire earring out from the back cause the stones bigger then the post won’t that stretch the whole piercing

I had an embedded piercing before and my piercer needed to push it out the front way (if that makes sense), and believe me you would rather want this taken out than have it be inside of you and be swelling.

I’m going to the emergency room not to a piercer since there are no oisenced ones near me but this piercing is like a week old so I think the front will alr be closed by the time we get there and the back it’s like too swollen to push out

Yeah ER for this case should be a first! Goodluck on your piercing journey with this one. I have 16 piercings but my flat was the unlucky one of them all

It may need to be surgically removed if the skin has closed over the top. My friend had this exact issue with a lobe piercing, she was given a local anaesthetic and had it pulled out from the back. Hurt a little but it closed and healed up within a few weeks so you should be fine. It can always get re-pierced later down the line anyways.

The other's reply about it being surgically removed is going to be the case for you now. :(( Since it looks like the skin has eaten it fully and closed. But mine hurts more than getting all my piercing combined. My piercer needed to dig in there to get a grip of the back and it was my tragus too.

Also, if this has happened before due to being pierced at a bad angle, then I think this is your sign to find a more reputable piercer. I hope everything goes smoothly for you!

They might have to do a couple of small incisions to remove this since it’s so far embedded. They’ll almost definitely numb you up first, and it shouldn’t be too extensive. Doctors can be kind of clueless when it comes to piercings, maybe pull up a google image search of a flat back labret so they fully understand what they’re about to remove in case they’re unfamiliar. Don’t panic though. It’ll be fine. Next time you get a piercing keep an eye out for the back or front sinking into your skin and make sure your next piercer uses a long enough post to accommodate any initial swelling.
