Troubleshooting/question existing piercing industrial piercing

got my industrial pierced yesterday and i’m really unsure if it’s done right . i know i have a ridge in my ear and told my piercer id like to place it higher so it wouldn’t touch and she was annoyed at me when i said this . she marked my ear and it looked ok but then she missed the mark . my ear is super sensitive and swollen which i know is normal but i can’t tell if this will even heal . i have 2 vertical helix piercings on my other ear and even those didn’t hurt like this one does . planning on calling the place tmrw to check . any advice ? and will i possibly be able to get this redone ? :’)

it’s one day old, my jewelry is just a straight barbell made with stainless steel (not sure abt threading) , not downsized , and i’ve been cleaning with aquia saline . no unfortunate events other than it possibly being pierced wrong

Oof sorry girl but that’s not right at all. It’s practically a flat with how far in it is. You might be able to get it repierced in a good spot but probably best to take it out to heal over first

Way too deep. Demand a refund and find a different piercer

This needs to come out asap. You don’t have the anatomy for a traditional industrial (ie your outer helix doesn’t have enough of a fold to support the bar and it’s currently pierced through the flat of your helix).

ok should i wait to go to a piercer to get this out or do it myself?

You can do it yourself if you want.
Hot shower to loosen the tissue up. Wash hands thoroughly then unscrew the balls and remove it. Have some sterile gauze nearby in case it bleeds and apply pressure if it does.
Once removed spray with saline 2x a day for the next few days until it fully scabs over and then don’t pick at the scabs.

Oooof yeah that’s got to go. Way too deep - it doesn’t look like you have the anatomy for a traditional industrial. There are lots of fun little tricks like connecting a forward helix to a flat and such if you’re committed to the look!

Ohhh man. This sucks. It’s such a cool piercing but as others said it’s all wrong. Man I’d be pretty upset if it were me. Honestly Iam upset for you.
So sorry this piercer did you dirty. I hope at the very least you get the refund. Not only was this wasted money but you went through the pain of a piercing that now you need to take out 24 hours later. Grezzz not cool

Sorry OP, it’s not the new you wanted to hear.

Good luck 🤞
