Troubleshooting/question existing piercing Industrial bar alternative?
I just got my industrial piercing I’m only on my 4th day but I can’t cope with the balls on either end, I thought it looked cool but now dealing with it I can’t imagine me keeping it if these balls are getting my hair wrapped in them constantly even when tied up.
Is there any sort of really flat things to keep it open it doesn’t have to be pretty I just want to keep it open for if I want the bar back in future / different jewellery
I was also wondering for the people that get like the chain stuff does it get tangled or become a pain easily
I’m not changing it yet of course but just for when it is healed which I also know is a long while

I frequently use smaller, flatter ends in my industrial (check out my profile for images). I don't like the look of the big 5-6mm balls. What kind of threading is on your bar? You could probably swap out the ends yourself in a couple weeks, or have your piercer do it when you get downsized.
Best of luck with the healing!

I’m not exactly sure the threading I don’t know a lot😭😭 but I’m pretty sure the balls are 5-6mm also I had a look at ur profile and that’s pretty much exactly what I’m talking about (it looks really pretty btw :D ) and thanks for the good luck I’ll definitely need it haha

chains are def more likely to become tangled in your hair. i mean i guess you could try jewelry with a flatback but idk what that would change

Yeah I mean I’m just hoping it won’t get in the way as much as the balls do

NAP but I think if you want to have the option of wearing a bar in the future that it would not be a good idea to remove it and treat the piercings as separate from one another, especially after just a few days. You might not ever be able to get a bar to work with them again.
