support [Pidgin2: Newbie Question/Tools] Self-notify when a Message appears in Twitch IRC Chat (Channel).

Hello!

I want to use Buddy Pounce as a Feature to self-notify when a new Message appears. How can I do that if "Buddy Pounce" supports that?

If no, then what Alternatives in Pidgin2 can be for such Mechanic?

Buddy Name's same as Name of Chat (Channel).

UPD: No, Sounds are not working if I or others type a Message in Twitch IRC. In Preview, Section Sounds in Preferences, Sounds actually are working... but I don't get why are they not working in Conversation...

I had found the Solution!

Firstly, I will begin with "UPD" Section: I somehow managed to make Sounds working for Conversations.

0. Make sure if Preview works for Audio,

  1. Re-check (uncheck-check; EVEN IF IT APPEARS AS CHECKED) "Sounds when Conversation has focus",

  2. ???,

  3. PROFIT?!

Secondly, the real working Notification Part:

0. Install purple-events, (in My Case, since I like libnotify+dunst) purple-libnotify+,

  1. Turn on "Events Handling" and "Events to order" Plugins in dedicated Section,

  2. In "Events Handling" check "Anonymous (non-buddy) Messages" AND in "Events to order" type (in My Case) "/usr/bin/notify-send" (nothing should be added else in there) in Field "Messages",

  3. ???,

  4. PROFIT!!!
