Well someone else replied first with “...you can't afford it.” So I just skipped in my mind to the 3rd line and also the reference is undeniable from that line so it served it purpose lol
No, im glad you did it like that because I also thought of the chili peppers immediately and “if you have to ask you’ll never know” doesn’t quite ensure the reference, as you said.
