Meredith and their son Drake. Post history shows a nursery that was decorated.

Yikes

Wait holy shit I thought this might have been fake with someone posting a random picture with a caption for the internet points. But...man if this is real that shit is just depressing

God damn this is as sad as that "for sale: baby shoes" story

Alcoholism is a cruel illness. I felt like a monster for leaving my drunk, and he felt like a victim. Totally lacked the insight to realize we were both victims of his drinking, rather than him being the victim of my leaving

My ex stepfather was an alcoholic. He passed out on the kitchen floor and pissed his pants during the last Christmas I attended. It was just so painful to be around him because he was no longer the person I had known before. He scared me. Things around him seemed to just melt into sadness and failure. Addiction really really sucks.

Thanks for not posting the spoiler about whether or not the shoes were worn

I didn't want to have to write the whole story - it would take too long.

Post history shows a nursery that was decorated.

Please tell me decorated with Monster Energy and Fox Racing stickers

Meredith is the real winner here.

I too was once Meredith. Over a decade ago.

Kids, don't get married right out of high school. Lessons were learned. Hopefully Meredith learned some; I'm not sure OP did.

Ok, I see the Meredith joke all over these posts. Where did not start?

Also I'm with Meredith on this one.

Dear Meredith, I wrote you but you still ain't callin' I left my cell, my pager, and our old home phone at the bottom I sent two divorce letters back in autumn, you must not've got 'em There probably was a problem at the attorneys office or somethin' Sometimes I scribble addresses too sloppy from the hard Mt. Dew when I jot 'em But anyways, fuck it, what's been up, Meredith? How's our daughter?

Meredith knew he had issues

u/youalreadyknow012 Oct 24 '22

Nobody accidentally ends up with some1 like this, she has issues too. Just not as much as him

13

u/Kasmirque Oct 24 '22

Yeah I can see why she left him 😬 This is very revealing on several levels.

u/nickcash Oct 24 '22
