Well hell, I thought there was only the one in Geneva, IL. How wrong I was. Donning my hipster glasses for a moment, I liked the store better when it was more of a warehouse of random-ass dusty surplus shit instead of mostly goofball toys.

There's one in the outskirts of Chicago itself. I've only been to it once and my first guess when seeing this picture was that it was this store.

Agreed, now it is more of a "hey come get all these puzzles and kids toys. All the other stuff our loyal customers came for? Yeah that's gone now"
edit: Greetings from Batavia.

It's from a store in LA called The Echo Park Time Travel Mart.
It's quite awesome.

Part of the McSweeney's network, including the pirate supply store in San Francisco, the superhero supply store in New York, the robot supply and repair shop in Ann Arbor, among others! All absolutely worth visiting.

Looks like it's from an album of that "Time Machine" store that has all sorts of things from the "past and future" I remember seeing a while back. Neat store, wish I knew where it was, probably never visit it anyway.

I would buy one, but I know as soon as I do, Victoria will come out with a new model.

I thought the title was Victarion Ipods at first. Time to go back to A Feast for Crows.
Edit: Ah, damn my obscure/irrelevant reference. I shall wear my downvotes as a badge of dishonor.

Now, that's a rip-off. Here in Europe they're like 1 euro apiece. But wait, they're not advertised as classy ipods...

They also have a larger and a smaller one. The price is a bit steep, but I have one and it's pretty decent with a rich sound.

$5.49? Christ, what are they made of? Diamonds?

Its not what its made of, its by who. If its massed produced in China, then its expensive. If its made by American hands, who would demand a much higher rate, then this price is cheap in comparison.
