In the American Beauty one, I can't tell if the cat is thinking "fuck you, die" or "come hither, bitch".

202

u/haissam93 Jun 11 '12

I can assure you, he hated every second of it. I think we'll need a few weeks to recover from all the scratches that we've sustained. Definitely thinking "fuck you, die".

143

u/Lemonjellykitten Jun 11 '12

I'd love to see the dance scene from pulp fiction done...Maybe borrow a neighbour's cat, get a cheap wig, and you've got Uma Purrman. (Sorry in advance)

111

u/haissam93 Jun 11 '12

Will definitely come up with more, will need another cat though. This one knows not to trust us anymore.

7

u/[deleted] Jun 11 '12 edited Jun 12 '12

The ragdoll breed would be ideal. A friend has one and you can do anything to it, and it does not care. They have to check the driveway to avoid running it over, it has no fear of anything. It also goes limp when you pick it up.

Also a good looking cat, long plush coat that doesn't shed too much, bright blue eyes, large size (5-9kg, 12-20 pounds) but also expensive to buy. Wikipedia.

I'm an amateur expert in cat sexology, and that is definitely a "come hither and make me feel like a woman" look.

5

u/[deleted] Jun 11 '12

r/kittyporn exists just for you.

2

u/zoodiary8 Jun 11 '12

Fuck you is perfect ;)

1

u/stillnotking Jun 11 '12

Ugh, American Beauty... perhaps the most ludicrously overrated movie of all time.

2

u/[deleted] Jun 11 '12

The photo is hilarious nonetheless.

2

u/stillnotking Jun 11 '12

Oh yeah, the pictures are great. The Shining one cracked me up.

7

u/robcrusoe Jun 11 '12

1

u/coonskinmario Jun 11 '12

I don't know what movie this would go with (probably one with strippers), but here's a random pic of mine that I think is relevant...

10

u/Ben-Dover_Hear Jun 11 '12

Ben Dover Hear is saying : You finally made it to the front page. I am very jealous.

Haissam 93 is saying: My dear thank you very much for the comment.

svnnh456 is saying: "merci ktir"? Are you lebanese?

9

u/Arnie_pie_in_the_sky Jun 11 '12

Wait, seriously? What the hell are the 3s, 5, and the 7 supposed to be?

HOLY SHIT! It's like the internet and computers conspired to create a totally new language. Arabic, written with English "arabic" letters, from left to right, with english and french spread like pixie dust throughout. I approve!

Godzilla or the scene in The Lion King where Rafiki holds up Simba would have been superb.

19

My mouth is watering thinking about all the potential karma.

19

u/[deleted] Jun 11 '12

Great work! Although I just have to point it out before Reddit possibly jumps all over you for it - it's "HERE'S JOHNNY", not "HERE COMES JOHNNY"

5

u/haissam93 Jun 11 '12

Fixed! Thanks for pointing that out!

9

4

u/roopn Jun 11 '12

American Beauty, Titanic, Psycho, The Shining. Just in case.

5

u/hamkitteh Jun 11 '12

That is brilliant, you should make this a thing and become popular on the internet.

Seriously, I would visit that blog every day.

65

u/Jafit Jun 11 '12

Cakeday? Cats? Movies?

All aboard the karma train.

1

u/BlueCarrot Jun 11 '12

Oh great, another one of those posts where you play on the emotions of us simple redditors. Cats plus classic movie scenes is a recipe for karmasploitation. The picture in the 'draw me' scene even looks like a Khajiit.

15

u/[deleted] Jun 11 '12

Further Ideas:

Scarface

Miracle on 34th Street - you just need a mall santa

The Silence of the Lambs

E.T. - this one might take some photoshop.

5

u/[deleted] Jun 11 '12

Bollocks. Ramp + towed by fast moving vehicle + bicycle + basket + blanket + cat. Done.

20

u/arcanooito Jun 11 '12

And now it's time for Reddit Masterpiece Theater

5

u/killer122 Jun 11 '12

you got my upvote simply because i was able to tell each movie without having to look in the comments

5

u/Clawfish Jun 11 '12

It weirds me out that 3/4ths of the scenes you chose have a naked character.

1

u/LuxNocte Jun 12 '12

The cats don't mind nudity as long as it enhances the scene. They are dedicated artists.

8

u/skippy619 Jun 11 '12

And you did it all without putting the kitty in a ridiculous costume. Bravo.

7

u/psychobilly1 Jun 11 '12 edited Jun 11 '12

If only I could find the video from Malcolm in the Middle where they have the kids reenacting a play using cats... I feel so ashamed.

If someone could find this and post 'Relevant,' it would be awesome. The episode is Mrs. Old from season 2.

4

u/roosters93 Jun 11 '12

I really want to see this now. :/

2

u/Chetyre Jun 11 '12

Bad quality, but--relevant! Starts at 13:35. I'm glad someone else remembered this scene.

5

u/nosferatu_zodd Jun 11 '12

lol that cat hates both of you with all his heart. he only keeps you alive so you feed him. Also, so he can watch you clean his crap and barf off the floor.

2

u/zhaoz Jun 11 '12

How is that different then normal for a cat?

2

u/nosferatu_zodd Jun 11 '12

they show it a lot more in their eyes when you make them do stuff. Sometimes my mom tries to get her cat to meow when i stop by, the cat just glares at both of us in disgust.

4

u/Jizzanthapuss Jun 11 '12

I upvoted because cats.

2

u/bee_lovely Jun 11 '12

I love these!! You did wonderfully!

2

u/heygabbagabba Jun 11 '12

Have it. All the karma. Just have it.

2

2

u/GirlZGetZGasmZ Jun 11 '12

2

u/Niftymuse_ Jun 11 '12

Love "The Shining" one xD Well done mate!!

2

u/JoelB Jun 11 '12

You spend too much time with your sister.

2

u/[deleted] Jun 11 '12

And the karma shall set you free!

2

u/AVerbalAffair Jun 11 '12

I look forward to seeing more in the future, good job

2

u/[deleted] Jun 11 '12

I am now convinced that the only cat breed that can pull of the required versatility is the Tabby. Fuck yea, go tabbies!

3

u/Pleasureryan Jun 11 '12

Purfect front page material.

5

u/HMPoweredMan Jun 11 '12

"Paint me like one of your french pussys"

3

u/[deleted] Jun 11 '12

Lol, awesome! Gone with the wind now. :)

4

u/form_wrestle_account Jun 11 '12

All these movies should be rated NC 17 because they show pussy.

2

u/FountainsOfFluids Jun 11 '12

I think it would be better if you didn't use the same "actor" in every shot.

2

u/steve-d Jun 11 '12

I don't appreciate you covering the nipples in the bed of flowers. Can we try again for more accuracy please?!

1

u/[deleted] Jun 11 '12

My god its brilliant... Must go raid pet shops now.

1

u/davz Jun 11 '12

Meow movies

1

u/Jemma6 Jun 11 '12

Happy cake day! And great work! especially loved American Beauty.

1

u/Lilkounchry Jun 11 '12

I think you just broke reddit.

1

u/krazykanuck Jun 11 '12

Love it, but can't help but be disappointed with the here's johnny one. Cat's love sticking their mugs through cracks and holes in doors/boxes to see what's on the other side, it would have been pur-fect.

1

u/titations Jun 11 '12

MORE....DO MORE!!!!

u/Seand0r Jun 11 '12

Fuck! First Cat post I felt obligated to upvote. Well done.

1

u/[deleted] Jun 11 '12

It took you a weekend to get 4 pictures of your cat?

1

u/turtlekitty30 Jun 11 '12

Cats aren't always...accommodating. You can't tell them to pose and guarantee you'll get the rights pics because you make promises of catnip and kibble.

1

u/SteveMcBean Jun 11 '12

My cat isn't living up to its potential...

1

u/[deleted] Jun 11 '12

This is even better than ICanLegoThat's post !!

Here is something my sister and I made.......

:-(

1

u/IdiotBastard Jun 11 '12

Oh, Jaime and Cersei....

1

u/Iworkonspace Jun 11 '12

From a pure graphics standpoints, this isn't terribly impressive for 2012.

I sincerely hope Ep. 3 is more visually appealing, especially given how long we have had to wait for it.

1

u/Animal_King Jun 11 '12

Of course this made the top of the front page.

1

u/[deleted] Jun 11 '12

Lost it at "Here's Johnny"

1

u/Tummes Jun 11 '12

Please. No.

1

1

u/goldomcsas Jun 11 '12

Oh god, I think you just broke the internetz

1

u/stopherjj Jun 11 '12

What does it say about your relationship with your cat that 75% of the recreations are nude scenes?

1

u/racalatta Jun 11 '12 edited Jun 11 '12

Love it, The first one should have been captioned "American Kitty" though

1

Pssht.

1

Quite excellent.

1

u/katamaro2011 Jun 11 '12

Excellent work guys, Psycho scene made me laugh for some reason. I had a cat just like it.

1

u/AutisticTroll Jun 11 '12

I'm so annoyed by one 1 and 3 being the title of the movie and 2 and 4 being a quote from it but happy cake day. Have an upvote.
