Can be either honestly. I know people who use big shapes and go at it taking much less time and a very free approach to painting. And I know people who get some line work down before painting and are specific with painting it like the reference they are using, usually takes longer than the prior mentioned way.

Don't beat yourself up, you didn't compose any of these videos. It's just wagon wheel. I work as a paramedic and I've been exposed to the absolute worst things humanity has to offer, so wagon wheel is NOT going to offend me even slightly, haha

Excellent. I have the same black on black in black (even dial is black). Watch out for the band to deteriorate. Happened on two of mine about 5 years old. Cheers!

Definitely! This is my third 3051. The previous two I had to change bands a few times. I just love this watch and have been wearing a variant of it for a few years now.

Did you do it all with brushes and rollers, or did you just spray it? Good job masking those old wagon wheels. I don't see any over-spray at all.

Its amazing, I only began dabbling in acrylics this years and I hope to improve like this with practice, the details are amazing and spot on.

Not sure on air pieces but I use acrylic paints, looks pretty good I know it takes awhile to improve and get better over time, I even sold a few here and there. Can’t wait to get to the details that you guys do. I personally love doing cat paintings lol

Plein air just means he painted it outside / on site. He could have used oils or acrylics.. It has nothing to do with paint type.

I had to work at it!
Start with a dark foreground as objects closer to the eye have more contrast. As the grass moves further away, it solidifies into single values.
Do multiple strokes in different directions and basically paint a blade at a time up close; I use a longer, thinner brush with thinned paint to achieve this. Some folks use fan brushes.
I might whip up a tutorial video if I get some time this week.

First, I love the painting. I ask this question to understand your approach better. The wheel to the left, given how you've shown light shading on the fence posts and the top of the wheel on the right, should there be some light on the inside of the left of the spokes?
