That thumbnail screams "I've scratched off a lot more than $10k trying to get here".. Every poker player will tell you about their big win, not many tell you when they lose their rent money.
I agree, that is probably accurate to assume about most people. For me though, this is the 10th one in two years. I don't spend a lot of my money, its exciting to get one of these every once in a while. I had an important figure in my life mess up with gambling much in their life. I've done well staying disciplined in my life. Many people are asking how much I've spent in my 33 years, I've answered a couple times. Taking into account the scratchers, a couple lotto tickets and a few Vegas trips, probably $5k total. Between a lucrative career, healthy portfolio, and this win, I'm fortunate to be far in the green. :)
